What an incredible week it has been! Congratulations to Inhi Cho and the entire IBM Connect team for hosting an absolutely fantastic and fascinating show with something for everyone. It was great fun to see new as very well acquainted faces at the welcome reception on Monday.

Tuesday was the first day of sessions and the series of spectacular events started with the Opening General Session (OGS) where our very own Senior Software Engineer, Julian Robichaux was announced to receive the IBM Champion Lifetime Achievement Award on Friday and thus join the ranks of current Lifetime IBM Champions Gabriella Davis and Theo Heselmans.

A mere few hours later, in the second part of the OGS, Vice President, Product Management and Design of IBM, Ed Brill made breaking news: IBM’s Application Modernization plans involve panagenda ApplicationInsights (AI) as IBM’s standard solution for application usage and code complexity analytics! We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received both in person and over Twitter and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support. Don’t worry if you didn’t have the opportunity to check out a demonstration at our booth or witness AI in action at our Technical Consultant, Terri’s session “Understanding Application Modernization: 101” on Wednesday. You can register to our next Webinar “Understanding Application Usage and Complexity with panagenda ApplicationInsights”.

Over the three days, seven of our highly talented staff, who we lovingly refer to as “panagendians”, hosted six different sessions. Each of these were very well visited and we received a lot of feedback and a ton of follow-up questions, which we will get to answering as soon as possible. If you happened to have missed the sessions live, weren’t at the Connect or want to see them again, we have just the thing for you! Throughout March, there will be Virtual Editions of the sessions in the form of Webinars. You can register for them using the previous link or by visiting our events page.

Especially for IBM Connect 2017 we created an early adopter discount for ConnectionsExpert Professional. Due to popular demand we are extending this offer until all IBM Connect Virtual Editions have been completed. This gives you all of March to benefit from a reduced price and discounts on further modules.

Finally, we hope that everyone enjoyed this week as much as we did and wish everybody a safe journey home and a relaxing weekend.
