Yesterday at IBM Connect 2017 started with a bang – or rather with some beats – with Julian Robichaux’s exciting IBM Lifetime Champion announcement that followed a beat-boxing experiment with Watson Beats at the Opening General Session (OGS), Part 1.

Part 2 of the OGS was jam packed with new features and partnerships, including IBM’s announcement of panagenda ApplicationInsights. Thanks to everyone for the buzz and stopping by our booth #430 for a demo.

Today, team panagenda is presenting three sessions covering development, the Notes client and ApplicationInsights. First up is Christoph Adler’s fast paced “IBM Notes Performance Boost – Reloaded” session at 12:00 pm in room 2020. Pro tip: grab a coffee before this one to keep up with Christoph!

After lunch, Julian Robichaux will present all about “Why Java 8? Or, What’s a Lambda?” at 3:00 pm in room 2000. Beat-boxing may or may not be included.

From 4 pm – 4:45 pm, join Francie Tanner in room 2000 for the “IBM Connections Social Partners and Ecosystem” panel, hosted by IBM.

At 4:40 pm, head on over to the engagement theater on the EXPO floor to see panagenda ApplicationInsights in action, presented by Terri Warren and Franz Walder in their “Application Modernization: 101” session.

Rounding out the day at 7 pm is a field trip to one of San Francisco’s most interactive “science, art and perception playgrounds” – the Exploratorium. See you there!
