Welcome to my series #panagedaPride published every second Friday to feature members of our team that despite their highly professional demeanor also have awesome personalities. Today it is my pleasure to introduce Dominik to you!
What’s your name and what exactly do you do with panagenda?
Hi my name is Dominik and I work in Sales. Being part of the customer facing team, I am in contact with customers, prospects and business partners all over Europe. My philosophy in sales is listening to individual worries and challenges and finding the best possible match to our product and sales capabilities. Resulting in a win-win for everyone involved. One of the greatest things about working for panagenda is hearing people during presentations asking “Really, you can do that?” or “How do you do that?”. Being able to attend conferences and catch up with all attendees is also a nice perk of course.
What’s one sure fire way to bring a smile to your face?
My dog 🙂 I have him, a Griffon Bruxellois, since 2017 and he is still a puppy. Regardless of whether he’s excited, angry, sleepy or acting totally crazy, he is the cutest and most perfect dog. Oh, and for all the Star Wars fanboys (including myself), he looks like an Ewok 😀
What do you consider the greatest invention EVER!?!?
There are three inventions that are in my top list. The first, I most probably couldn’t survive without, glasses / contact lenses. Without them I’m as blind as a bat and I assume I would hurt myself or even die instantly if I leave the house without them.Second, the fridge. Without the ability to cool food, I would probably be really poor having to go out for dinner and having food delivered all the time…unless I just ate cereal and sweets…Finally, the Internet. Sure, everything worked very well when I was young. We had a little bit of planning ahead to do when meeting with friends and maybe we weren’t as distracted by (social) media. But being able to connect with everybody online, streaming, shopping, working remotely or answering this questionnaire online whilst travelling by train is just amazing (btw: noise cancelling headphones are also a reeeeally good invention)
Who is your childhood hero and why?
Spider-Man and The Ninja Turtles were my childhood heroes. Considering I used to pretty much be a little nerd with thick glasses, but still rather good at sports, I could identify with Peter Parker and Spidey very well. Being able to “turn” into a super hero who could do those amazing things sounded just too cool to me. Another part of being a fanboy was that my friends and I (we were 9-12, just to be clear 😉 ) dressed up as the Turtles. I chose to be Michelangelo and we had a blast eating pizza and playing with the action figures. Oh, and speaking of action figures, my brother and I had a huge collection of He-Man action figures, castles and other paraphernalia, which we’d spend countless hours playing with. Such good memories..
Who would win the battle: Power Rangers vs Ninja Turtles and why?
Well, considering my previous answer about childhood heroes: The Turtles of course! The Power Rangers just danced around and fought gummy monsters. The Turtles can do kick ass martial arts, have real weapons and fought bad guys like Shredder or Krang. Especially with me assisting as disguised Michelangelo, Power Rangers can’t do anything but lose 🙂
