What’s the quickest way to come to grips with modernization or migration challenges?

Firms like yours have been using Notes/Domino for years. During that time, 1000’s of applications will have been developed to address 1000’s of different needs. Some of those applications will be business critical. Some will be complex and sophisticated, others will be simple, but still effective, popular tools. Some will have died a death long ago, but they’re still out there, floating around in your environment, unloved and unused.

What remains is what we call “Focus DBs” or “Focus Replica Sets”. These are the applications your project will evolve around. They are further analyzed for usage and complexity and iDNA Applications will divide them into different categories:

    Applications with high user activity and low projected development effort
  • Business Critical:
    The core of your many of your business processes and who uses them

Applications appearing in the lower left of the Remediation Overview dashboard have low usage rates and are simply written. These are your Consolidation Potential. These are candidates for archiving. Your Quick-Wins Candidates are found in the lower right. These are popular with simpler coding. These can be handled with a minimum of effort. You can get these out of the way quickly.

Application in the top right have complex code and are highly popular. These are your Business Critical applications. Be sure you allocate plenty of time and resources to these!

You stay focused on what’s important. Your planning is easier and more accurate. Your resources are properly allocated to get the most efficient use out of them.
