As a Solution Architect (in Boston or US EST remote), you will work closely with panagenda’s sales, support and customer success teams, and regularly interact with our customers.

As a member of the panagenda team you will

  • do Pre-sales Support:
  • Gather and assemble technical usage information and analysis as needed to develop Business Value Assessments
  • Review demo preparation questionnaires to create customized demonstrations for specific customers based on their business needs
  • Deliver strategic product demonstrations and participate in technical discussions with key prospects
  • Present technical capabilities as well as the business value of all OfficeExpert products and services
  • Interpret customer business requirements by actively listening to clients and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and provide thoughtful answers
  • Provide target customers with a compelling argument that panagenda’s products and/or services will best satisfy their needs in terms of features, functions, and delivery
  • Provide technical assistance in responding to functional and technical elements of key RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs
  • Define and deliver remote, or on-site, POC’s to selected customer prospects
  • do Post-Sales Assistance:
  • Build strong relationships with IT administrators and IT directors to help proactively mitigate the risk of churn
  • Provide advanced product deployment support for strategic partners and customers
  • Serve as a second-level resource for Partner Forums to answer technical questions
  • When necessary, Solution Architects will deliver remote or on-site product deployment or troubleshooting services
  • Increase the value of the OfficeExpert service within the customer base by ensuring feature utilization including Analytics Insights, license management and root-cause analysis
  • Following a successfully closed opportunity, the Solution Architect will deliver a half-day training to impart a level of understanding for all product features

  • Review marketing blog outlines and contribute to / write technical articles as needed
  • Perform social media outreach including Linkedin and Twitter
  • Participate in content creation and delivery of Webinars
  • Participate in content creation of White Papers and review of marketing materials
  • Review and develop product documentation
  • Assist in development of partner enablement materials
  • Create short videos demonstrating various elements of new product functionality
  • Represent panagenda at selected trade shows and conferences to engage in technical discussions and perform customer demonstrations
  • Travel up to 25% in North America (circumstances allowing)

  • A 4-year degree required (BA/BS), or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience as a pre-sales support engineer or technical support representative
  • 10 years work experience in relevant roles with at least 2 years in a pre-sales architect role including an IT background
  • A demonstrated history at a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial company (preferably on-line SaaS toolset experience)
  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, workloads and administration, preferably with Office 365 related Microsoft technical certifications
  • An in-depth understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture ideally with experience administering Azure hosted solutions and/or you’re holding Azure certifications
  • Excellent people skills (i.e., ability to build relationships, IT discussions, technical Q&A)
  • Good administrative skills including planning and time management to execute within parameters and risk forecasting and reporting – general adherence to internal deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other business tools to communicate and/or present professionally to customers
  • Great communication skills – verbal and written, ability to communicate clearly and effectively to explain complex technical solutions in easy-to-understand terms
