Obfuscation of user profiles in ConnectionsExpert is controlled by the license key. This enables us to guarantee that country- or region-specific data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) can be fulfilled from the beginning.


Enable or disable Obfuscation in ConnectionsExpert

In general it is possible to deactivate or activate obfuscation at a later point in time. In this case, historical data is processed as follows:

  • Obfuscation is activatedenabled: Obfuscation is also applied to historical data in the ConnectionsExpert data warehouse.
  • Obfuscation is deactivated: As soon as obfuscation is deactivated in ConnectionExpert, user profiles are no longer obfuscateddisabled: After deactivation, data can also be identified historically for specific users.
