In a scenario where the GreenLight appliance is not allowed to connect to the internet, GreenLight's Online Update feature will not be able to show notifications regarding new available versions. Upgrading is still possible, but it will be a manual process.
Step 1: Identify your appliance versions
Please check the following link in order to identify the version of your appliance via the login screen of the VMWare Console
If you have deployed GreenLight within the last 4-5 years then you have for sure a 64Bit Appliance in place!

Note: the 32bit Appliance Box is NOT supported anylonger!
Step 2: Download the latest GreenLight Version
If you are using the 64bit Appliance , please download the following DEB package

Step 3: Update via the Manual Update process
Within the GreenLight web interface, open the only valid for <=v3.2.x!
Update Version "Perform manual update"
Open Menu - System Preferences and click on "Perform Manual Update ...".
Click OK and select the previous downloaded DEB file.
After few seconds you will see a progress bar
Your appliance will apply the update and restarts automatically after the installation is done.
