The following steps will get you started with panagenda MarvelClient in just 20 minutes:

 The MarvelClient Install Wizard

  1. You may want to read through the System Requirements and Installation Types before installing panagenda MarvelClient - in general it's a good idea to read through MarvelClient: Good to know.
  2. To install the MarvelClient Databases on an IBM Domino server or your Notes client, navigate to this topic in your local MarvelClient Help database and click on the the Install panagenda MarvelClient button:

If you would like to carry out a manual installation, please refer to performing a manual install of panagenda MarvelClient.

If during installation you choose settings different from the default, take a note as you will need them again later on.

  3. Perform an Online Update, see Updating the MarvelClient Config, Analyze and Help Databases
  4. Install the MarvelClient binary on your local machine as described here: Setting up your first IBM Notes Client with panagenda MarvelClient
  5. Restart the client (make sure that you also close any Admin and Designer clients) to upload your first document into the MarvelClient Analyze database.

The default configuration will move your mail file desktop icon (stack) to the top left on workspace page one. If you have a local replica of your mail file, the corresponding entry on the replicator page will be moved to the very top, send and receive full documents will be enabled, and the preferred server setting set to "Any available try [Your Mail Server] first" - if you do not want this to happen, you should not yet restart your client but instead adjust the default configuration in the MarvelClient Configuration database.

Now you might want to take a look at MarvelClient: Good to know.
