Go to the "Group Analysis – by Name" view:

SecurityInsider > Analyzing Groups: Empty and Large Groups > Group Count 1.png

Sort by Member Count, ACL Count and/or Mail Count to identify empty groups.

Similarly, you may wish to identify your largest groups. Both ACL and Mail counts help you to easily identify groups through which end users might (accidentally) send emails to many recipients, or where groups grant too many users particular rights.
