By default, the content analysis in iDNA Applications is only done for one database at a timelimited to one concurrent scan. However, this setting can be changed if necessary - for example, if you want to scan all your licensed databases over the weekend. To increase the number of concurrent database scans, please proceed as follows:limit can be increased via a configuration setting.


  1. Use the ssh client of your choice (e.g. putty on Windows) to connect to the appliance and edit the following properties file (e.g. using vim):

  2. Change the following property according to your needs (default = 1):

    dca.aggregations.max_concurrent=1


    Note

    Please note that an increase can increasing this value may lead to significant loads significantly increased load on your Domino servers, the network or the iDNA Applications server. What exactly is affected depends Depending on the respective kind of content, the databases and the servers on which they are scanned. We therefore recommend that you have a careful look at the effects that changing this property could have.size, location and content of the database, some or all of these areas may be affected. It is strongly recommended that this setting is adapted with only great care! 



  3. Save the properties file and exit

  4. Reboot the Restart iDNA Application appliance Applications with the following command:
