By default the content analysis in iDNA Applications is only done for one database at a time. However, this setting can be changed if necessary - for example, if you want to scan all your licensed databases over the weekend.

To increase the number of concurrent database scans, please proceed as follows:

  1. Use the ssh client of your choice (e.g. putty on Windows) to connect to the appliance and edit the following properties file (e.g. using vim):

    vim /opt/panagenda/appdata/volumes/idna/idna-config.properties
  2. Change the following property according to your needs (default = 1):

    idna-config.properties
    dca.aggregations.max_concurrent=1

    Please note that an increase can lead to significant loads on your Domino servers, the network or the iDNA Applications server. What exactly is affected depends on the respective kind of content, the databases and the servers on which they are scanned. We therefore recommend that you have a careful look at the effects that changing this property could have.

  3. Save the properties file and exit

  4. Reboot the iDNA Application appliance with the following command:

    ifa restart
