OfficeExpert TrueDEM supports all public versions of Microsoft 365. However, it is a dynamic environment where updates and changes happen often and fast. The OfficeExpert TrueDEM team is dedicated to adjust and fix any issues that can arise from this. If issues can't be resolved immediately we will report them here.
Latest Update: March 30th 2026 ( see below)
Portal tests for M365 Apps may fail
March 30th 2026: Microsoft is currently processing updates related to the subdomain transition to cloud.microsoft. As a result, portal tests for M365 Apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint may experience temporary failures.
Excessive number of Teams calls are being reported as impacted
November 17th 2025: Beginning with Teams Version 25227.* (Windows), TrueDEM displays a larger than normal number of Teams calls using video and/or screensharing as impacted.
TrueDEM indicates call quality based on a large number of criteria and conditions. One such condition relates to the lowVideoProcessingCapabilityRatio. TrueDEM flags calls as impacted when this ratio exceeds a pre-defined threshold as it could indicate issues with the local endpoint's ability to process video/screensharing. Since the introduction of the above mentioned Teams version, data provided by Microsoft indicates that nearly every call made on Windows devices is seeing a 100% lowVideoProcessingCapabilityRatio, which clearly exceeds any threshold.
It is highly unlikely that this is the case for every device and call, and the issue was therefor reported to Microsoft for further investigation.
Update: January 20th 2026:
The lowVideoProcessingCapabilityRatio parameter has temporarily been removed from our calculations as no answer from Microsoft had been received yet.
This removes the high number of false positives in TrueDEM caused by the parameter wrongly indicating an issue.
Update: February 17th 2026:
A reply from Microsoft was received confirming the following:
The issue has been officially filed and registered internally, and the engineering team is actively tracking it. At this point, we are not able to provide an ETA for the fix, as it will depend on the product team’s prioritization and release cycle. However, you may inform your customers that this is a known issue and is already under review for a future update.
We will continue to monitor and update our calculations once Microsoft confirms the parameter is reporting valid values again.
