Addon INVENTORY: Collect HW Details" similarly to the PERNAB Addon Agent, the agent requires MC_UploadDB to be set in notes.ini and pointing to the Analyze database; suggested value being MC_UploadDB=%notes_homeserver%!!panagenda\mc_analyze.nsf (or whatever the correct path to the analyze database in fact is) In addition, the agent requires the following ini-variable: MC_AddonColKeyInv=<os:user>\<os:computer> (suggestion as OS hardware and software are only different per OS user and machine, but not per notes release or notes username) MC_AddonColGetHWDetails=1 (Collects CPU und Memory details - exact CPU model & family; Max. possible and current physical memory including information about how many memory banks are used vs. available) MC_AddonColGetLogicalDriveInfo=1 (Collects information about all logical drives on a machine, including total size and free space in MB/GB and percent) MC_AddonColGetProductInfo=1 (NOTE: it may well take 30-45 seconds on a machine to collect installed product/software information!) NOTE that the agent resets all three ini variables MC_AddonColGetHWDetails, MC_AddonColGetLogicalDriveInfo, and MC_AddonColGetProductInfo after each run to make sure that all such detailed OS analysis is only done if so explicitly requested/set at each run. In general, it is recommended to only perform such an inventory when needed and not upon every client startup as HW/SW does not change every day. |
