At panagenda we know that SaaS offerings in cloud move fast. And we know our customers need to implement monitoring of new functionality just as fast.  To ensure we can meet our customers' needs, we prefer to bring new functionality to you as quick as we can.  Such functionality is initially launched as a preview feature.

Are Preview Features Secure?

Yes.  At panagenda, we consider security as the minimum criteria for any new feature.    If any product concept does not fit in our security model, it is simply discarded.  Only functionality that meets our security model is developed and promoted to the level of a preview feature.

What Else Do You Need to Know About Preview Features?

In essence, preview features are still being "tuned".  While in preview we are evaluating the data that is being gathered and how it impacts end-user devices.  As we see areas for optimization we may need to make adjustments to the data points that are being gathered.  These changes generally result in greater reductions of any impact on your devices. You may notice the addition or removal of metrics as we fine-tune the impact-to-value ratio.

We are also evaluating the best model for supporting the feature as it moves from preview to GA (general availability).  Our platform receives millions of signals per hour from customers around the world.  Seemingly simple tasks such as separating a technical issue from a regional holiday can be far more complex than it seems on the surface. Until we finish tuning the logic for monitoring the health of any new feature, we are unable to include the preview feature in a formal SLA.
