This page gives you an overview of the current service status. It is a starting point for identifying potential problems and their causes:

From the Home page, you can explore the following questions:

  • Do I see issues on a Microsoft level?
    • MS Teams
    • Exchange
    • OneDrive
    • SharePoint
  • Do I see issues on an internet service provider (ISP) level?
  • In which geographic locations do I have problems?

In this article:

Settings

In the top section of the page, you can adjust the following settings:

Tennant IDs & Reaction Time

Here you can select for which of your tenants (select from Tenant IDs drop down menu) you want to get an overview on this Home page.

Reaction Time represents the basis for the monitoring period (see next setting):

Example: If the Execution Time for OneDrive was higher on average in the last 10 minutes (Reaction Time) than the average for the comparison period (Monitoring Period), you will see an issue for OneDrive.

Monitoring Period - "Last X days"

Here you can select the comparison period to which the Reaction Time refers (see above). You can either select a predefined range, or create a custom time range (left-hand side of the settings menu):

Microsoft Services

The first tiles and the map refer to Microsoft Services. If you are shown an issue, click on the corresponding tile and select Show more details on... from the context menu. You will be taken to page Service Performance - T2, where you can learn more about the problem.

Map

What is displayed on the map depends on what you have selected before. To change the selection, click on a MS Services tile and select Results by Region from the context menu:

Please note that the map shows aggregated locations and not individual users, so that a single user with problems cannot influence an entire region.

ISP

To the right of the MS Service section, you will find ISP information about Roundtrip Times and Hops for MS Outlook and MS Teams. When problems are displayed, navigate to the EPM - ISP pages for more details about the ISP issues.

Calls

On the far right side of the page, you will see an overview of the Microsoft Teams call behavior in your company. If there are any abnormalities, you can investigate the matter further on the EPM - Call Quality pages.

Collection Information & News Feeds

If you expand the Collection Information section (at the bottom of the page), you will see more information about the respective measurements.

At the very bottom of the page, you will find an Azure Status News Feed (expandable) as reported by Microsoft (https://status.azure.com/).
