On the When tab Actions can be tied to Conditions, allowing for flexible configuration of under what circumstances an Action is to be carried out on a client:
Example 1:
Only set a certain notes.ini entry if a client is a Standard (Eclipse) IBM Notes client and running on a Laptop.
Example 2:
Only (ask a user as to whether it is a good time to) carry out an upgrade if the client has 2 GB of memory, 2 GB of free disk space in both the IBM Notes data and program directory, and is of a Notes release < 8.5.3 FP3.
Example 3:
Automatically redirect a user to a server in AMAC, APAC, EMEA if s/he has an ip address with (a) certain ip range(s).
